School closings, delays, early dismissals due to inclement weather:
- Please be sure that your phone numbers are updated in our office. The numbers on file will be the numbers to receive automated phone calls when there is a school delay, cancellation, or early dismissal.
- Putnam County Schools will also announce closings and delays on social media- Facebook, Twitter.
- If you have Facebook, please join the Putnam County Schools page. We also have a Conner Street Elementary PTB page.
- You can also download an app for Putnam County Schools.
- Be sure your emergency dismissal procedures are up to date. You filled out forms at the start of the year declaring how your child would go home in the event of an early dismissal. If anything has changed, please send changes to your child’s teacher in writing.
